Hi, I'm Niels, and I play the ukulele in my spare time.

This summer, I was at a ukulele event in the city park in Norderstedt. Sitting next to me was Sylvia, who was wearing a T-shirt from the Monopolele Mediterranean Ukulele Fest, which I had never heard of before.

Later, I thought to myself, Wouldn't it be fun to spend a few days on vacation in a beautiful place where there is also a ukulele festival? As a souvenir, I'll bring a fancy festival T-shirt with me to wear at play dates and workshops.

So I looked around on the internet and was amazed at how many small, excellent festivals there are. But finding them all and getting an overview of the dates was also a pain. Some festivals have their own website, while others can only be found on Facebook, and often, the dates for the next year still need to be fixed.

I would have liked a map with an overview of all the festivals together with the dates and links to the festivals - in the end, I liked the idea so much that I built Ukulele Festivals.
